The Colleges and Its Goals


College of Engineering & Architecture

As the college has produced top quality technologians since the middle of the 20th century, its goal is to continue to produce these breed of men, of sound mind and spirit, for the nation and the rest of the world. Its vision is to produce professionals who are responsive to the needs of the country yet globally competitive. The thrust of the College is to emphasize the basic principles of science and engineering while keeping abreast with latest developments in science and technology, and to continue its quest for excellence.

College of Computer Studies

The College of Computer Studies (CCS) aims to provide all students with an appreciation and awareness of information technology as it relates to their personal aspiration as future leaders and forerunners of the nation. The goal is to create a technologically literate society through proficient, supportive and highly trained faculty; appropriate and cutting edge facilities; programs and pedagogy responsive to industry; as well as a culture which rewards innovation, initiative, and teamwork. It is the intent of the college to produce well rounded, equipped, and globally competent graduates by advocating shared core values of hardwork, creativity, and excellence through example and guidance.

College of Commerce

The College of Commerce aims to provide education in the mercantile and allied arts and sciences. It professes to cost affectively develop students into self-learning, highly functional, technology oriented men and women that the business world needs. Fields of professional studies include accounting, business administration and office administration.

College of Education

The College of Education commits to:

  • Provide relevant and qualitative curricular programs that will train any individual who primarily desires to become a highly qualified teacher in the local and global setting.
  • Draw out the leadership potential of students and teachers so as to instill in them the fidelity to social responsibility.
  • Promote the global solidarity that will raise the awareness of students and teachers to be
    • upright in behavior,
    • responsive to local and international issues,
    • competent in managing endeavors for peace and sustainable development,
    • literate in culture and arts
  • Pursue research to uplift the profession, educational programs and technology; and
  • Sustain community involment, particularly in programs that are beneficial to the underprivileged sectors.

College of Arts and Sciences

"PRIMUM VIR ESTO - Let Him First Be A Man" a motto that serves as a challenge to the College of Arts and Sciences of the Institute.

The College is founded on the four global behaviors: Communication Skills (in English, and Filipino), Social Behavior (in Sociology and Anthropology), Manipulative Behavior (in Natural Sciences) and Self-Actualization (in Humanities and Arts).

The College of Arts and Sciences envisions to produce globally competent professionals who are God-loving, responsible and effective leaders, socially and culturally cooperative, appreciative of the arts and sciences, research oriented, respectful of the dignity of every person and desire to live in peace and harmony with nature and community.

These objectives can be achieved only through the concerted efforts of the faculty members who are commited to their profession, equipped with esteemed human qualities namely; patience, understanding, loving, effective and efficient in teaching and believer of professional growth.

Thus, the development of a whole man is best realized with the infusion and devotion to the liberal arts thereby depicting an institution that aims to produce quality graduates who are prepared to face the challenges of the future and ever willing to preserve the dignity of his alma mater.
