Engineering topnotchers Rizaldo Fuentes and Mark Cecil Tano paid separate courtesy visits to Cebu Institute of Technology President Mr. Gregorio L. Escario on November 9, 2009.

Engr. Rizaldo Fuentes claimed the top spot in the October 2009 Electronics and Communications Engineer (recently renamed as Electronics Engineer) Licensure Examination.

Engr. Mark Cecil Tano was fourth placer in the October 2009 Mechanical Engineer Licensure Examination.

Mr. Escario praised the topnotchers for their outstanding achievements and presented them and their departments with gift checks.

During the courtesy visits, Vice-President for Academic Affairs Atty. Corazon Evangelista-Valencia, Dean of the College of Engineering and Architecture Dr. Evangeline Evangelista, Chair of the ECE Department Engr. Susana Tan, and Chair of the ME Department Engr. Edgardo Concepcion accompanied Engineers Fuentes and Tano.

In her 63 years of existence, Cebu Institute of Technology celebrates these recent triumphs as Engr. Fuentes becomes the 76th first placer and Engr. Tano, the 56th fourth placer. CIT has produced a total of 596 board topnotchers.
