LEAR Corporation Donates 40 Fujitsu Starter Kits to CIT University

CIT University’s Industrial linkage, FUJITSU Semiconductor Asia PTE Ltd. (FSAL)/SPANSION and LEAR Corporation, donated 40 Fujitsu F2MC-16LX Microcontroller Starter Kit Jouet Bleu last September 22, 2017 at LEAR Corporation. The formal turnover was attended by Engr. Jeana Joy Talle (Software Engineer), Engr. Jimmy Cenabre(Manager, Software Development), and Engr. Jerome Alfred Alfafara(HR Recruitment Supervisor).
Jouet Bleu (blue toy) is a starter kit for a microcomputer beginner who is just starting to learn about microcomputers and embedded software. The kit includes the microcomputer board, the software development environment, the sample program, and the manual. It can be used effectively as an educational tool for embedded software development by students and prospective software developers. The Integrated Development Environment made by Fujitsu, SOFTUNE (trial version) and the monitor debugger made by ACCEMIC (trial version) are attached. SOFTUNE is the Integrated Development Environment that integrates the C compiler, the assembler, the linker, and the debugger and contributes significantly to improving software development efficiency. Moreover, the monitor debugger made by ACCEMIC is software that can implement debugging without expensive ICEs (in-circuit emulators). On-chip debugging can be implemented by using this software only with the microcomputer with built-in FLASH memory mounted on the application system.
