CIT-University Is One of the Twenty Universities Selected by the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) as Technology Business Incubators (TBI)

The 1st Philippine Technology Business Incubator Summit was successfully held on September 24, 2017 to officially recognize the twenty universities selected by the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) as Technology Business Incubators (TBI). Cebu Institute of Technology – University is one of the top twenty universities out of 45 aspirants across the country.

The event was highlighted by the signing of Memorandum of Understanding to seal the partnership between DOST and the universities through their respective presidents. Our own Engr. Bernard Nicolas Villamor graced the event along with other school heads.

With this linkage and support, we are hoping to connect with more Technopreneurs who would want to make a difference in their own space. The entire CIT University community would like to thank the Vice President for Administration, Mr. John Gregory Escario, for his continued support for projects that do not only benefit the academic community but the society, as well. We would also like to acknowledge Prof. Cherry Lyn Sta. Romana, Dean of the College of Computer Studies, for doing the perfect pitch that landed us to the top twenty, Engr. Ralph Laviste, soon-to-be TBI Manager, and Engr. Edwin Torillo, ITSO head, for all the support in coming up with a power presentation.

CIT University TOPS AGAIN!
