CIT–U Elementary and JHS Departments maintain PACUCOA Level 2 Accredited status
March seems to be a March madness of accomplishments with our TOP university in Cebu as CIT University’s Elementary and Junior High School Departments afforded their Level II Accredited status in PACUCOA for the period of 2022–2027.With this significant recognition, CIT University is able to make relevant revisions in accordance to their curriculum—prioritizing the best interest towards the students. This privilege humbles upon with the university and will continue to stand to its mission of producing competent and socially responsible graduates, which can make a positive impact on the lives of its students and the community as a whole.
Canadian Healthcare Delegation visited CIT University
CIT-U is thrilled to accommodate the healthcare delegation from Saskatchewan Polytechnic School of Nursing to CIT University on March 17, 2023! Our commitment to internationalization is stronger than ever as we share knowledge, expertise, and possible collaboration in the field of healthcare. The visit covered talks on possible student and staff exchanges, research, joint programming, and other partnership opportunities. The Canadian delegation also hopes to learn more about CIT-U and the practice of nursing education at the institution and in the Philippines more broadly.
Another Win for the BSCS Wildcats!
The 4th year BS in Computer Science students in CIT University grabbed FIRST PLACE against 31 other teams from 5 countries – Philippines, Taiwan, Indonesia, Malaysia, and Thailand – during the 18th Digital Signal Processing Creative Design Competition organized by the Department of Electrical Engineering at Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology (STUST)! The winning work is entitled MOTION: A Mobile Application for Yoga Pose Accuracy and Consistency Evaluation. The victory is seen as another testament of the students’ skills and creativity as future computer scientists. Indeed, it was a well-deserved journey to the TOP.
Teradyne Philippines, Ltd. X CIT University
Our pursuit to prepare the Technologians to be industry-preferred graduates and professionals continues as CIT University welcomed the officials from the Teradyne Philippines, Ltd. The Teradyne officials were welcomed by the University President, Engr. Bernard Nicolas E. Villamor along with the Dean, Assistant Dean, and Heads of the College of Engineering and Architecture. Among the discussion are CIT-U’s exploratory discussions and possible collaborations with Teradyne in the areas of Research, Extension, Laboratories, Facilities, Faculty/Student Exchange Programs, Instructions, among others. Knowing the caliber of excellence of the TOP University in the Philippines, Teradyne also conducted a job hiring opportunity for CIT-U ME, ECE and EE Graduating Students and Alumni.
